Emergency Preparedness Week
Emergency Preparedness Week is a Canada-wide campaign running from May 3 to May 9, 2026.
The theme for this year’s event is “Be Prepared. Know Your Risks.”
The PEI Emergency Measures Office will be hosting free information sessions across the province throughout the week and encourages Islanders to come meet members of the PEI EMO team and learn about how you can help keep yourself, your family and your community safe and prepared during emergencies.
We will wrap up the week with an exciting Touch-a-Truck event, featuring a variety of emergency response vehicles and the incredible agencies that use them. It’s a great chance to learn, explore, and have fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
Emergency Preparedness Presentations:
- Tuesday, May 5, at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Center, 21 Sullivan Drive, Montague, at 1:00 pm.
