Public Notice: Hopetown Development – Zoning Clarification

The Town of Three Rivers is aware of recent social media discussions concerning the potential rezoning of land associated with Hopetown Development Inc.

To provide clarity, in the past Hopetown Development Inc. has received approval from the provincial government to purchase land within the Town of Three Rivers. However, the Town has not received any application from Hopetown Development Inc. requesting the rezoning of property currently zoned as Agriculture.

The Town reminds residents that any proposed rezoning must adhere to the formal process outlined in the Town of Three Rivers Development Bylaw. This process includes public notice and a public meeting, ensuring that residents are fully informed and have the opportunity to provide input before Council considers or renders any decision.
